He's so cute.

And so smart......
Lately he reads his books like this and then he pretends to read and talks and laughs while he's looking at the book.

He also likes bathtime

There wasn't really anything important about the tub pictures. I just thought they were cute.
Side note: My brother in law (one of them. heh.) just had a birthday this week and later this week he's headed off to Iraqistan ;-) for many months so the main mission of my blog is to keep him informed of what's happening back at home. Good luck Shawn! I'll do my best to keep you in the loop. ;-)

Rosh Chodesh

It was the day to go out and look at the new moon so we went headed up out of the valley so that we could actually see the horizon. It would have been a good time to whip out the telephoto lens but I left it at home. (What kind of photographer are you anyway???)

It was already visible by the time we got to our destination.

Looking over towards Salt Lake. (No, the ACTUAL lake.) ;-)
Just needed a shofar. :-) hee.

Apparently this was the spot that Cary was going to propose to me those many years ago. Ha. Due to road closures and what not, that didn't happen and he had to go to plan B. (Sorry babe, just had to put that in there.)

We went on a walk today

Since it was such a nice day Aidan and I headed outside for some sun, semi-fresh air, and to see the changing leaves. (Actually, I needed to go to the office to pay rent, but that doesn't sound as good)

It's difficult to know how to dress right now. In the morning it's freezing so I bundle the poor kid up and then later on in the day it warms up and he's suffocating.
One of the "ritzier" parts of Sandpiper apartment homes.

The ritzy part. Hee.

The ghetto. Where we live.

The ghetto neighborhood pool

My minivan. Man I LOVE that vehicle...oh and that cute little boy.

So BIG!

Uncle Kenneth spent the weekend visiting us and Aidan always enjoys the extra attention. Ken babysat for us yesterday afternoon and even had to change a diaper! Thanks Ken....I know how difficult that was for you. :-)

Aidan discovered that he likes riding this toy.

It makes him pretty happy.

So he kept Kennneth busy.

Our new toy.

Don't be jealous.

It is kind of nice.
Takes TV watching to a whole new level.

Not that we need to watch more TV.

Even Aidan thinks it's pretty cool.

Bluegrass concert...of sorts.

My mother in law went to a music teachers thing last summer and they had a concert up at Park City and Aaron Ashton and Ryan Tilby (Ryan Tilby plays for some band that I can't remember the name of. Dangit) were playing there. Afterwards she met up with them and talked them into coming and working with her orchestra.
So they had a concert last Thursday night with the kids at the highschool. Sharon took these videos and I posted a few of my favorite songs.

If you watch one of those links you'll see the other videos that are available.

Or just go to Sharon's youtube site.

ETA: I got Sharon's website wrong. Doh.
