Janille just came and picked up her kids. Megan, Kayli and I had a girls night last night since Caleb was having an overnight birthday party with all of his friends. I can't believe Caleb is 6 already. Kayli and Megan spent the night watching Disney Princess stories while I kept track of the Jazz game on the internet. We did go over to my parents house to say "Hi" to my aunt and uncle who were visiting from Washington.
The kittens new thing is to crawl up my legs while I'm sitting at the computer and fall asleep in my lap. Awwww....it's so cute, but can be a tad annoying.
Janille and I went to Provo on Thursday to go shopping. Woo, hoo! It had been awhile since I had left Eskdale....besides going to Delta with Tara last weekend. I don't think Delta really counts as getting away though. I did get my Cafe Rio fix though, so now I can continue to crave it for another month or so. Heh.
All the college kids are going back today, so things will be alot quieter around here. Ah, well.
Well, I'm currently watching the Vermont/Michigan St game, and I think I'm going to go take a nap. Kayli and Megan let me sleep in till 7:00 this morning, but I don't think that quite cut it.

Time for my weekly kitty update.
Heh. I wish I was kidding....
Life is good. The weather was awesomely warm until yesterday. I'm starting to get freckles again and my nose is red, but it turned cold again. The flu hit everyone bad, and I've managed to not get it as bad as everyone else yet. I'm trying my grandpa's cure....everytime I feel like something is wrong I go take an Alka-Seltzer. Sadly, I don't think it will help if I get what mom and Megan had. Mom and Dad got back from Israel a few days ago and mom has been sick ever since.
My friend, Tom, from Logan got married this last weekend. He married a girl from Hinckley, so Tara and I drove in this last weekend and went to their reception. It was his apartment that I watched all my Jazz games last year. I'll not speak of the Jazz today......much too depressing of a topic.
As some of you know...we are trying to "redecorate" the center/kitchen area. Colleen and I spent some time today picking out pictures that we may want to put on the walls. I'm kind of excited about the whole thing....if we ever get it done.
Well, I realize that this was an exciting post, but I think I need to take a nap before I go back to work. Naturally, since this has turned into my photo journal, I'll leave you with pictures.
I know, you were beginning to think that I never left my house.

Pictures from another walk
Checking out the work going on on Johnny and Mary's house. Making sure they are doing it right. :-)
Why don't like people like me taking their picture?I know, you were beginning to think that I never left my house.

Abby is trying to kill me.
We logged in about 14 miles in three days and she complained that I wouldn't go walking with her yesterday.... Geez, there is no pleasing some people. I just couldn't fit it in between work, laundry, cleaning my house, and watching the Jazz game. (I also watched "Their eyes were watching God", anyone else see that on TV?) I might be able to fit you in my schedule today Abby.
The kittens are getting cuter everyday, walking around and getting into everything. Madison is the stupidest cat ever and I have murderous thoughts about her regularly. She is cute every now and then, so it saves her.....that and I'm not sure how I'd feed the kittens.
Well, I have to go cook, but I'll leave you with pictures...pretty soon that's all I'll have on here.
I don't even know who took this picture....people randomly take pictures with my camera. Check out those paws. How adorable.

Random
Ken, Abby, and I just got back from a nice LONG walk, and now my blood sugar is VERY low....I think I need a brownie. JK. It's a very nice/warm day today. It started out that way yesterday, but by the time I got home last night it had dropped 30 degrees and started raining, but today is just lovely. I look out my window and my Grandpa is working in his yard and makes me feel like a big slacker for having done nothing in mine. The really nice thing about it being springish is that it's lighter at 7:00 and not so painful to get out of bed.
On a side note: I realize that I talk about the weather alot...for some it's just a way to get through a conversation. In my family it's a big deal and we are genuinely interested and fascinated by it...most of us anyway. Just thought I'd say that....
I totally chopped my hair off yesterday. I guess that's the bad part of knowing how to cut your own hair....when you get the whim, you can act on it. I think it's a little shorter than I planned, but it will grow back.
The kittens are starting to crawl around everywhere and it makes Madison angry so she's moved them behind the couch. Hmmm...I think I'm going to name the girl Reagan which means I'll probably end up keeping her. Still working on a name for the boy....so any suggestions? Hee, hee.
Well, I was going to write more, but got majorly distracted and now I have to go. Have a fabulous day. I will leave you with pictures of our walk.

Hmmm...sleep
I lied about what I'm listening to. I put what I want to listen to as opposed to what I really am listening to. As much as I love watching "Sing Along with Disney Songs" and other such things, what I'd really rather be doing is taking a nap. It was a long night for the 3 of us last night. Kayli wouldn't go to sleep until the wee hours of the morning, and I didn't go to bed until about 1:00. Starting around 3:00 it was constant motion for me, Megan, and my stupid cat. Needless to say, 6:45 came very early and Caleb took delight in waking everyone up. Megan is/was sick by the way, and that's why she kept getting up. Madison is a whole different story and I'm sure I'll fill you in some other time.....
Ok, Kayli fell asleep so I'm off to see if I can take a nap.
Caleb finishing up his homework. (Homework? What is this word you speak of?)
Kayli & Caleb........watching Mulan II
Megan
I'm getting a lecture and amazingly enough it's not from Megan.
Ahhh....a fuzzy picture, but we all look sort of happy.

I wait so long to write that I can't remember what happened in my life.
Talk about memory loss.
It was a holiday weekend for most of the college kids, so they came out. Friday night we watched DeLovely (however it is spelled) and I really liked that movie. It was also the NBA All Star weekend, but I only watched the actual All Star game. I really wanted to watch the dunk contest, but I went to dad's study class instead........ There is a Jazz game tonight, much to my delight. The first in over a week...here is the bad news. Raul hurt his OTHER knee and he is out for the rest of the season. Poor guy can't get a break from the injuries. He played all of last years season, but he missed the whole season before that, and he's missed (and will miss) a lot of games this season.
I've been promoted at work. Which basically means that I have more things to do and more responsibility i.e...I get to boss more people around.....yipee. I am also doing the ordering and inventory so it will be interesting to see how things go.
The bookmobile came the other day and I decided to get more books so that I would spend less time on the internet...so naturally I spend more time on the internet than ever before. It's out of my control!
Valerie got a job at the Abundant Life Academy, or whatever it is they are calling themselves. It's the school for troubled teens that they have at Hidden Canyon. Anyway, point of that was to say that I have the house to myself alot these days because she's been staying up there nights most of the time. Well, myself and the cats....although, if Madison continues to wake me up at ungodly hours in the morning she might disappear. Ok, I would never do that, but I sure do think about it when she sits on my face and starts licking my nose. Arrgghh! I usually wake up enough to realize that she needs to go outside... She never did this before she had kittens. Raja doesn't like the kittens and is never at my house anymore... Jazz is my little wanderer...disappearing for days at a time and then showing up very hungry and dirty. Hee hee, I just went off about my cats again....

It's been an interesting week since I last wrote.
On Thursday I sprained my foot/ankle pretty bad...we won't talk about how it happened. In any case, I've still had to work so I've been hobbling around and my foot was a pretty combination of purple, blue, yellow, and green. Ben, having had many "sports" injuries helped me out with wrapping and icing. He was there laughing at me when it happened, so he had to make up for it somehow...........
Valerie (my housemate) found one of the kittens dead yesterday. I'm not sure why it died. Madison seems to be a good mom and the kitten looked like it had been eating so. Sadly, kittens dying is something I'm very familiar with.
My cats have made me realize that I'm going to be screwed if I ever have kids as far as being consistent. When I first got the kittens I started out with they couldn't come in the house. I always hated cats in the house, I'm allergic to cats so I wanted some what of an allergy free zone. Then it was, ok, they can come in but they can't eat in the house or stay in at night. Well, Valerie moved in and wanted them to sleep with her, so I was ok with that as long as they were shut up in her room. Then Raja got hurt and wasn't supposed to go outside so we started feeding him inside, and then Madison had her kittens and moved them in my closet. I've lost all the battles....I keep saying that when the kittens are older and it's warmer outside that the food and the cats are all going outside... Until then I have chronic allergies but the cats are cute. The good part is that they go over to my parents house and hang out over there alot.
Anyway...yes my life is boring enough that I have to talk about my cats. It's the All Star break now and the Jazz don't have a game for a week. The Jazz have a ton of injuries and are struggling once again, but I'm still trying to work out a way to go to their next game.
I watched the Notebook...good movie. The whole part with the Grandma just hit's a little too close to home with what my Grandpa is going through but he still visits her for those "glimpses".
I'm out.
