Really, I could title all my posts, "scenery and kids". ;)
Andre and the boys were out one weekend, and they came over for church, my kids were playing them and somewhere in the course of that, Andre invited Aidan to go fishing with them later that day. So he took Aidan and we met up with them later. Aidan ended up catching two fish! Ella was fairly traumatized when she realized people were taking the fish home to eat and not throwing them back into the water. It was fun and Andre was so patient with all the kids, but I suppose you have to be somewhat of a patient person to like fishing in the first place. ☺

We had a lightning and thunderstorm and it started a little fire up on the mountain...that was July 16th or 17th. It didn't get very big and just put out a little bit of smoke the next few days and over the weekend. Then Monday afternoon it started to look like this.

I only had my phone camera with me, so I didn't get any good shots, but Sharon did. We didn't have to worry about the fire coming in contact with any structures or property, so it was (dare I say?) fun to take photos of a different looking landscape.

Clara really is impossible to take pictures of, but I try, and I occasionally can get one of her face.

One of my summer goals was to start running, I think I've gone about 3 times all summer. I took this photo the last time I went. :p
