So all the framing should be done inside of the house now that they finished framing in the master bath. They originally had already framed this bathroom, but we decided that it needed to be a little bigger, so we brought the bathroom into the master bedroom a little over a foot. Gives us just enough room to not have the headache of finding a shower small enough to fit in there, and now we can fit a tub in there.
I like my baths. ☺
The next framing job is our entry off the back door, but we have to take out the porch and pour footers and all that first.
(look at me, sounding like I know what I'm talking about...maybe.)
They got the front (side) door taken out and framed it in.
Cary and Ryan did all that on Friday, which was a nice weather day.
Sunday when we were supposed to work on the house, the weather was WINDY, rainy and just down right cold.
So with all the window and door openings we had no protection from the wind or cold.
Lots of fun!
Sunday we worked on electrical so we had all the fun part of deciding where lights were going, light switch placement, how many light switches do you want to control a light, yada yada, and then we pulled almost all the wire we needed too for light fixtures, plugs, and switches.
Kenneth, Alex, Greg, and Ryan were helping Cary do that so it actually went pretty fast.
(I've been really bad about taking pictures, by the way)
We still have all the connecting to do, and we needed Dean to tell us how to wire up the bathroom plugs and parts of the kitchen, but it was nice to get the bulk of that out of the way.
Since Winter is making it's appearance we really need to get the house enclosed.
Windows installed, and some plywood doors up, and get the holes in the walls patched up so it's at least bearable to work in there.
I'll leave you with these pictures that I have no idea who took them, they were just on my camera. ☺
There was one of Cary and Ella too, but I would be in trouble if I posted it.
Hee.
