There's a party in my tummy...

22 weeks
Actually, last night it was more like
"There's a dance party in my belly..."
and I was wanting to go to sleep.
I'm thankful that I haven't had the back pain with this pregnancy that I had with Ella (so far, but with Ella it was pretty much the whole pregnancy)
I've been having braxton hicks contractions since 14 weeks.
I'm almost more addicted to Cafe Rio this pregnancy than last time. (not good for my weight or our budget) ☺

Random :)

Alex and Kenneth had to come in to SLC yesterday to run some errands, so we met up with them to do some serious Home Depot shopping.
You know, fun stuff, like, plumbing fittings, black pipe, bathroom fans, etc...
The kids were really excited to see them.
By the time we were done shopping and loading particle boards and sheetrock on to the back of the truck, it was snowing and snowing hard!
Boo.
Sharon took these pictures last Sunday night while we were grabbing a bite to eat after working on the house all day.

Framing, check!

So all the framing should be done inside of the house now that they finished framing in the master bath. They originally had already framed this bathroom, but we decided that it needed to be a little bigger, so we brought the bathroom into the master bedroom a little over a foot. Gives us just enough room to not have the headache of finding a shower small enough to fit in there, and now we can fit a tub in there.
I like my baths. ☺
The next framing job is our entry off the back door, but we have to take out the porch and pour footers and all that first.
(look at me, sounding like I know what I'm talking about...maybe.)

They got the front (side) door taken out and framed it in.
Cary and Ryan did all that on Friday, which was a nice weather day.
Sunday when we were supposed to work on the house, the weather was WINDY, rainy and just down right cold.
So with all the window and door openings we had no protection from the wind or cold.
Lots of fun!
Sunday we worked on electrical so we had all the fun part of deciding where lights were going, light switch placement, how many light switches do you want to control a light, yada yada, and then we pulled almost all the wire we needed too for light fixtures, plugs, and switches.
Kenneth, Alex, Greg, and Ryan were helping Cary do that so it actually went pretty fast.
(I've been really bad about taking pictures, by the way)
We still have all the connecting to do, and we needed Dean to tell us how to wire up the bathroom plugs and parts of the kitchen, but it was nice to get the bulk of that out of the way.
Since Winter is making it's appearance we really need to get the house enclosed.
Windows installed, and some plywood doors up, and get the holes in the walls patched up so it's at least bearable to work in there.

I'll leave you with these pictures that I have no idea who took them, they were just on my camera. ☺
There was one of Cary and Ella too, but I would be in trouble if I posted it.
Hee.

School

Hmmm, wow, it's been awhile. ☺
A few months back, Cary switched to the 9/80 schedule at work.
This means he now wakes up at the bu... he wakes up really early (5:00) but he gets every other Friday off.
That gives us an extra day to go to EskDale and work on the house.
Last week, it just so happened that Gwendy was having school on Friday (it's usually, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Aidan was very excited!
Most of the kids live in Nevada and they are in a different time zone, so they don't come until later.
Ella and Aidan got to hang out with Gwendy all by themselves for about an hour.

Once all the other 7-8 kids showed up, Ella and I left the rowdy bunch. ☺
(Apparently some of the boys think Ella is cute and they kept cornering her and not letting her go anywhere).
We walked around and looked at the pretty Fall color that is still hanging on.

It was a fun busy weekend and we didn't get home until almost 11:00 last night.
(which is REALLY late for us, way past our bedtime) ☺

Fall

The weather has been beautiful.
I can't believe it's already the middle of October.
Our apartments have new owners, new management, etc...
Anyway, they are painting the outside of all the apartments and they left a note saying that they will need to paint our two doors to the outside, tomorrow, and that we'll need to leave them open for 30 minutes.
Hmmmm, a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and I'm supposed to keep them from touching wet paint on our doors and keep them from running outside.
 This should be fun!
If I actually knew what time they were painting, I could plan to be gone. ☺

More fun Fall pictures over at the EskDale blog. ☺

The Last Window

Cary and Ryan got the last window framed in yesterday.
Woot.

They were cursing me every minute too. ☺

So as we all know, things change.
We've decided to add an entryway onto the back of the house here.
We didn't think this was taking long enough, so we added more work. ☺
Ha.
I'm excited about it though.

Slowly, but surely...

View out my big window

I'm loving this big window!
I just need another one on the other wall. ;)

Still nailing in walls and closets... seems to be a never ending process.☺
(no, I'm not impatient, why do you ask?)

My kitchen sink window was framed in last weekend too.

Halfway!

So as of Sunday, I passed the halfway mark of this pregnancy.
Woot.

I'm having a really hard time getting motivated to shots of myself.
Photos give you the accurate look at just WHERE all that weight that I'm gaining is going...and it's not my stomach.
Another area I've been procrastinating....
Aidan has needed a hair cut for quite some time.
I finally gave him one last night and he handled it quite well, but I made sure it didn't last very long either.
Looking so handsome!

Family Photos

So a few weekends ago when we went up the mountain to see the fall color, we decided that it would be a great time for Sharon to take some family photos of us.
Yeah, the cooperation wasn't really high among the family, but Sharon got some good shots anyway! These are all stolen from her blog.
Thanks Sharon! ☺
