Workin' hard

More signs that Spring is here (or coming!) :)
The boys were out cleaning our back patio
There's one of the rose bushes I planted last fall and that one managed to not die
It's still too cold here to plant anything yet
Although I wouldn't have thought that last week, but it cooled down which is a good thing since they still haven't hooked up our A/C yet.
Oh no, Aidan found some ducks that were sleeping peacefully on the sidewalk
That nap is over

The Simple Things

I've been a slacker with the pictures lately...and pretty much everything else in my life. Sharon, Janille, and Megan came and stayed with us on Thursday night and we had fun hanging out with them and eating at Olive Garden. :)
Aunt Sharon bought Aidan a bath time drum set since Aidan is in a drum phase.
As you can see, he loves it and we don't restrict it for just bathtime either.
Poor Aidan's head. This week he's whacked himself in the head so many times I'm going to start worrying that the kid is going to have brain damage. The lastest episodes were that he was running in the living room, tripped and smacked into the end table corner right above his eyebrow. He had a nice looking goose egg that I managed to not take a picture of.
Then today, I was getting something out of the top shelf in a closet and didn't know that Aidan had come in behind me... my (small) tool box fell off the shelf and hit Aidan on the head. :( I think that time scared him more than hurt. Life is rough when you're a toddler.
I think I gained 10 pounds overnight. Nick called us up yesterday to see if we wanted to meet up with him, Jesse, and Tiffany at the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Jesse's b-day. We didn't end up going there because there was a 2.5 hr wait, so we went to Olive Garden again because they only had an hour wait. (I'm not complaining about eating there two times in a week!!!) Abby came with us and we had a good time and were there until 9:00 last night. Nick stopped by the Cheesecake Factory afterwards and bought a Lemon Raspberry cheesecake that they brought to our place and so we were eating that at around 10:30.....so yeah. I think I didn't need to do that, but it was SO GOOD!

A Couple More...

We brought the stomach flu back to SLC with us. Yay! Yesterday I wanted someone to just kill me and get it over with. Being this pregnant is uncomfortable enough, and having the stomach flu is no fun either, but the combination of the two was just absolutely miserable. Needless to say, we haven't been doing a whole lot.
So I'll just leave you with a few more pictures from the weekend.
Aidan crashed the end of the bridal shower. ;)
Hanging with grandma
Playing with sticks
Aidan really loves being outside
Here is last weeks picture that I never got around to posting. I'm getting too fat anyway, maybe we'll stop with the pictures. Ha. ;)

Bridal Shower!

My cousin Bethany is getting married in June, so this last weekend I attended her bridal shower.

This is another cousin, Jenny and her daughter Ava
Bethany getting Hayden to smile. (Hayden is my cousin Rachel's baby) I have LOTS of cousins by the way. Ha.
Sharon will love this picture.

Bethany describing something good here
Lets all take a moment to hate Jenny for how skinny she is. :) My mom holding Hayden.
Hayden didn't want to smile for me
Spotlight! Everyone watching Beth open her gifts

Beth was embarassed by this gift but I wasn't quick enough
Everyone's reaction to the gift

Hayden sleeping on Sharon
Aidan wondering why Sharon is holding someone other than him.
It was fun seeing everyone and I'm still clinging to hope that we'll make it to the wedding. :)

Weekend

During the 3 major Biblical feasts (Pesach, Shavuot, and Sukkot) each year, the House of Aaron holds mini-conferences over the weekends (meetings from Friday night through Sunday morning). Since it's Pesach (or Passover) right now we had a mini conference over the weekend at EskDale.
I'm not even sure where they got these hats
Notice the nice weather, it's definitely not the kind we're having right now

Sunday was First Fruits and we usually have a meeting of offerings (special numbers done by people)
Here is my dad playing the trombone with two of his grandsons.
Aidan and Kenneth making goofy faces
Aidan was very sleepy during one of the meetings so his cousins gave him some animals to snuggle with.

Passover Seder

Last night we celebrated the Passover Seder with the rest of the House of Aaron peeps.
Most people probably celebrated/started Passover earlier in the week, but we went off when Rosh Chodesh happened in our area.
Aidan was helping Sharon cook here.
Kenneth and I did the decorating and most of the setting up of tables. Sharon helped with the grunt work since I'm pretty much useless these days when it comes to physical activity.
So most of pictures are usually centered around how we decorated and all that since that's what I like. :)
Kenneth designed the covers of the Haggadahs.
